Bunkpurugu Tailors and Dressmakers Association Zone 2 commemorated Workers’ Day with a vibrant celebration, highlighting the dedication and hard work of every artisan in the community. The festivities kicked off with a lively parade through the principal streets of Bunkpurugu, showcasing the unity and spirit of the local workforce.

Led by members of the association, the parade featured colorful displays and musical performances, drawing the attention of residents and visitors alike. Participants waved banners adorned with messages of appreciation for workers across various industries, emphasizing the vital role they play in the community’s prosperity.
The climax of the day’s events was a special visit to the paramount chief of Bunkpurugu, Bat Alhaji Abuba Nasingmong Tanbootuk kpant mokir. The association members paid homage to Chief Abuba Nasingmong, recognizing his leadership and support for the local workforce.
“We are proud to honor all workers today and express our gratitude for their dedication,” said the chairperson of the association. “This celebration is a testament to the hard work and resilience of every artisan in our community.”
