Bunkpurugu Nakpanduri District schools have made their community and the Ghana Education Service (GES) proud by securing second place in the 2024 Regional Reading Festival. This event was organized for Basic One to Basic Three students and was sponsored by Care International and School for Life.

The competition brought together six districts from the North East Region: Mampurugu Mogduri, East Mamprusi Municipal, West Mamprusi, Chereponi, Bunkpurugu Nakpanduri, and Yunyoo Nansuan Districts.

Students from Bunkpurugu Nakpanduri District performed impressively:
Basic One students took second place.
Basic Two students secured third place.
Basic Three students also took second place.

The goal of the competition was to encourage students to improve their reading skills and excel academically. Bunkpurugu Nakpanduri District’s strong performance highlights their dedication to learning and their potential as future leaders.
